How to Affiliate

As an IEEE Member, you can now affiliate with the Council of Superconductivity. We encourage you to do it as follows. Go to the Council’s affiliation page.

IEEE Transactions on Applied Superconductivity

The IEEE CSC publishes the IEEE Transactions on Applied Superconductivity (TAS), with six issues per year.

The Superconductivity
News Forum

A Joint publication of the
CSC and the ESAS,
with cooperation of Editors from Asia and Australia.

CSC Video Library

We are pleased to announce that the CSC Video Library has been updated with videos from the Applied Superconductivity Conference 2016 (ASC 2016), Applied Superconductivity Conference 2014 (ASC 2014), and the International Superconductor Electronics Conference 2013 (ISEC 2013). These videos include the Awards Ceremony; Plenary Series; and Special Sessions on SQUIDs, the 50th Anniversary of High Field Superconductivity, and the Gordon Donaldson Memorial Session.

Student Support

The IEEE Council on Superconductivity (CSC) is committed to promoting students and recent graduates in the field of superconductivity. Student assistance for attending conferences (registration and travel stipends), an annual fellowship, and multiple student networking & professional development events are offered. Details are found here.

Distinguished Lecturer

The Council’s Distinguished Lecturers are available to provide a seminar or lecture at your institution. To request a lecture, click here.

Field of Interest

The field of interest of the Council and its activities and programs shall be to cover the science and technology of superconductors and their applications, including materials and their applications for electronics and power systems, where the superconductor properties are central to the application. Superconducting electronic applications will include both analog and digital circuits and systems. Power applications will include the generation, storage, transmission and use of electric power.
