Short Courses in Applied Superconductivity Offered at EUCAS 2017

The organizing committee of the 13th biennial European Conference on Applied Superconductivity, EUCAS 2017, is pleased to announce that a series of Short Courses will be offered on Sunday, September 17th, 2017.

The courses will take place at CERN, Geneva, Switzerland, and will be targeted to students, scientists, and engineers who wish to broaden their background in applied superconductivity. The lectures will offer a unique opportunity to discover the secrets of superconducting RF, learn how to design a superconducting magnet for particle accelerators, review how superconductivity is applied to power and electronics devices, and investigate the science and technology of high-temperature superconductors.

The full program of the EUCAS 2017 Short Courses website is now online at http://eucas2017.org/2017/scientific-program/short-courses/.
